I love yoga when I do it. I will be honest, it isn’t my first choice for a workout. I am a cardio junkie. I feel like if my heart’s not racing and I’m not sweating buckets, then I’m not getting a good workout. However, yoga has been shown to be a great workout. It can lower your BMI, improve core strength, increase flexibility, relieve stress, and offers many other health benefits.
September is National Yoga Month. I’m going to celebrate by completing a month-long yoga challenge. My goal is to do two yoga workouts per week. (I am hoping to improve my flexibility and core).
